It is so great to live near my family & to be able to spend holidays together

Getting ready for Christmas

David was so excited this year to have a house again to decorate. The girls thought it was the greatest thing to be on the roof with DadOne reason we love living in Tucson and then we have this as the garden center at Lowes

Time to pick out the tree

Bring out the decorations

We decided this year to not go with the gingerbread house kit & made our own with graham crackers with a sweet Sister from our ward

Introducing Cocoa

The girls have wanted a dog for a long time...what kid doesn't? But we would always say "we can't have one until we have a house" and then we got a house so we would say "we need a fence before we can get a dog" Well as of the first weekend in December the Gould's became dog owners to a Shitzu. It was an early Christmas gift. We didn't tell the girls what we were doing & we went to some friend's in Scottsdale to pick the puppy up. When we went in David said maybe they will let you have one of their dogs you should ask her. Zhara of course was shy & said no but Alyssa turned to Allison & said "can we have a dog" and she looked at Lys & said " you can have this one if your dad says it's okay" Alyssa got a little confused & looked at David & said "can we have a dog" and he said yes. Zhara's eyes got huge and they gave the puppy to her. It was wonderful to see their excitement We took her to Petsmart....still nameless...to let the girls pick out her bowls & some toys. They kept wanting to call her Sophie after a dog that we have watched before but as we were leaving Zhara saw a name tag that said Cocoa & that was the name.

She is a great fit for our family. She loves to cuddle & play & she is very smart. David has added yet another girl to our family.
