Rodeo Break Day Begins

Our 2nd annual trip to Lego Land over rodeo break was here. My parents got the same campground they had last year and when we arrived on Thursday evening we enjoyed a nice view

 Apparently my parents have a sense of humor when no one is around and this picture was too good not to keep forever!

 Friday morning we woke up and started our day off with a walk on the beach while Dad did homework

 Just for the record there are over 100 steps on this walk down to the beach, which isn't bad, until you have to walk UP them

 Haleigh became obsessed with the sea weed and she would pick up little pieces and bring them to the big piles

 OK so actually ALL THE girls were fascinated with the sea weed. Alyssa found one that looked like a nest.

Grandparent Day

After the birthday party my parents brought down their RV for the annual Rodeo Break trip. Haleigh was loving it because Grandma let her take a nap in the camper with her.

 Rodeo Break always brings a fun cowboy day at school and Grandparent day.

 Zhara apparently had smelled some of the flowers we had for Vday and the yellow mustache didn't go away easy

 Grandma took them to lunch at McD's after...hot dogs and chips at school didn't sound quite as appealing

 And of course there was a sleepover in the camper

Haleigh turns 3

While we were up in Phoenix for the temple open house we celebrated Haleigh's birthday at my sister's house. The best part of her house is the orange trees they have in the back yard. Haleigh and Charlotte will pick them and play with them pretty much the whole time we are there.

 This sweet girl has brought such joy and laughter to my life. She is 3 going on 15

Happy birthday sweet Haleigh. You are beautiful inside and out and you brought a piece of Heaven with you when you came to our family.
