Ebay almost killed us the last 6 weeks of the year and for New Years we just wanted to get away from our house and our life so we packed up the kids and drove to San Antonio TX for some time with our friends the Roberts. Now every trip with the Gould's has a story.....The first day of the trip went pretty smooth and even Charlotte was a champ but after we had a night's rest at the hotel and we started in for our 2nd leg of the journey. Life wouldn't be life without things not going as planned and so after some very interesting events we finally made it to Texas...late as usual...but we still had a great time. We went to one of their friend's house to watch fireworks and eat goodies. Zhara and Alyssa were so happy to see Evan and Sydney.
2013 was one of the hardest years I have been through with many changes and challenges and when those fireworks went off I felt a sigh of relief that I had survived the year and now it was time for a new page. Here is to LIVING 2014 and not just surviving.
