I can not believe that this girl is 8 years old. My beautiful visiting teaching companion Carol Angle made Zhara's baptism dress and the blessing dresses for both Haleigh and Charlotte and she was thrilled to make one for Alyssa. She makes the girls feel so special and takes them out alone to pick out the pattern and their material. Alyssa picked hers out quickly and although she wanted ruffles she said she didn't need them because it was going to be a lot of work for Carol and expensive but when we went to get her dress....there were the ruffles. We went up to the Gilbert Temple and our great friend Jabon Eager took her pictures. At first she was so embarrassed that the attention was just on her but after a bit she became quiet the model. These pictures capture her outward beauty but also her inward beauty and the light that shines from her. I am so proud to be her mom.

Easter
Easter brought us up to my sisters house
We enjoyed some Easter egg hunting
and some really fun Easter baskets (ones that mom would NEVER buy)
and what's a family gathering without family photos?
We ended good food and good fun with a bunny cake...
and a very tired David...is he trying to do his homework through osmosis?
Easter Dresses
Easter eggs
Coloring Easter eggs was so fun this year because all the girls were old enough to do them basically by themselves and we had a great time. David and Haleigh ended the night drawing Easter Eggs on the glass door
Spring Break
Spring break brought lots of fun:
a day at one of David's agents Customer Appreciation
which included FREE face painting...and the real kind that these girls are always begging me to pay 20 bucks for at Lego Land
The last few days of Spring break we went up to Phoenix and spent some time at the Train park with Grandma and Grandpa
Their favorite part was the underground tunnel we had to walk through to get to our parking lot
Alyssa got her pictures taken in her beautiful baptism dress
while everyone else played at the clinic
My sister tried to do some therapy on me
We also spent time at the National Museum of History and I took some really fun pictures but my camera bit the dust and I lost all my pictures which was heartbreaking but we had a great spring break and enjoyed our time with my family
