New Years for the Gould family has been a big party for the last 4 years. We have had like 10-20 people at our house, all night video games, dance dance revolution contests & fireworks off Pikes Peak. That is no longer...for the time being :( This year we started off our New Years Even by swimming....yes it is like 70 degrees here in ole Arizona (which the weather is nice now but you will be laughing at us when it's 115 in July)

We ate dinner & then headed over to a friends house (funny enough it's a family we knew in Colorado Springs). We sat around & watched TV, tried to keep the kids happy and ate the best popcorn balls things that I have ever tasted!
After the girls crashed on the couch we played Hearts & Apples to Apples.
We thought we would leave at like 10 because the girls would be tired but the lasted until after 11 so we watched the ball drop & ended up staying until 2 am. I was a little nervous about driving 25 miles with all the drunks but we made it home safe & then David, Austin & I stayed up playing Ticket to Ride (Bre & Trent we miss you!!!). We played until 430 in the morning. Crazy? Yes because the girls got up before 8. Needless to say we were all a little tired. New Years day was beautiful though so we loaded up the wagon & spent the afternoon at the park.
We are looking forward to 2009...there are many things happening for the Goulds (or at least we hope). Happy New Year to everyone & to all those who used to party at the Goulds house..........we missed you!
