Hawaii...Arrival

My sister decided to get married in Hawaii this year & so thanks to Grandma & Grandpa we took the entire family on a 5 day vacation to Hawaii. The girls were so excited to actually get to fly on a plane. We flew out of Phoenix with a direct flight of 6 1/2 hours to Hawaii. Funny enough we all ended up on the same flight, including my sister & her fiance. We got to the airport over 2 hours early because we just weren't sure how it was going to go checking 6 people in but it went smooth & so we had quite a bit of time before our plane left. Madison, a friend of Zhara's was actually flying to Maui the same time we were flying to Oahu & we were hoping to let them play, but the airport is huge & we were on different sides of the terminal. So we got some lunch & waited for take off. The girls did amazing. I was a little nervous because the first guy who gets on & sits behind us says "A very dirty word that begins with F, just what I need kids and whitehairs (referring to my parents)" and as soon as drinks were available he had like 3 & then he slept the rest of the flight...which was good for us. The girls did amazing. They were on a plane for over 6 hours & we didn't have one meltdown or fighting. Once we got there we had to get our luggage & grab a cab. I've never been in a cab before so that was interesting. Our hotel was AMAZING!!! It was the Hilton Hawaiian Village & our room was so nice. Zhara loved that there was a telephone in the toilet room. She said "can I call grandma while I poop?" It was late for us, but not late there because there is a 3 hour difference so we went & had 20 dollar hot dogs with Glenn & Aimee & then went for a swim & a walk on the beach before heading to bed.
