Zhara had her 1st grade field trip on Valentine's day to the Desert Museum. Unfortunately it started raining about 10 min after we got there. Most of this museum is outside & half the kids didn't have jackets. Not only was it raining but the temps were dropping & it was only in the 40's...so we tried to stay inside as much as we could. This picture should have been at the end but it is first....showing that, yes, it ended up snowing.
Zhara touched not one snake
but two
she became a bat
and a cave explorer
and then about 45 min before the bus came back the temperature dropped to 35 & it actually began to snow. The flakes were so big she was catching them on her tongue....which doesn't happen very often in Tucson. It was cold & miserable but we had fun anyway
