David and Jeff had a really good time and were rolling some HUGE boulders. It's funny how excited you can get when you watch a rock slowly, slowly making it's way down and watching it go faster and faster, bouncing off small rocks until it makes it's way to the bottom and how disappointing it is when they just stop.
This was our hill....and the line in the down the middle was our creation.
Then came the real hiking....and it was hard work
check out those grey streaks I have!!!
so we had to rest for a bitwhen we made it to the end we admired the beauty of the designs made by water running through and then realized that since it was cloudy and windy it could be raining miles away and watering could be rushing toward us and we would never know until it was too late....so we decided we had admired enough and to be honest I started to feel a little nervous until the rock walls were small enough we could climb out
When we got back and had some lunch Uncle Jeff took us out for a little ride
and some tubing....watching Jeff try to flip the older boys out was unreal. I was basically terrified to get in one of those afterwards
Grandma was the flag queen. When you have someone in the water you put up a flag to let other boaters know to slow down and watch for someone and the second someone was in Grandma had that flag up
Jeff was amazing on how he could run that boat and maneuver it around for the folks in the water.
While the older boys went out on the water Grandma taught me how to Kayak. It was fun...and I didn't tip!
While I was out on the water David and the girls did a little fishing....which these two love to do!!! It's too bad they don't get to do it very often.
Best part was they even caught some good sized ones!
